The browser on your phone, tablet or computer must have access to the camera and microphone to establish the connection and see each other.
Can't see each other? Check whether your browser and device have permission to use the camera and microphone. Also check whether the client has these settings configured correctly. Below you will find where to find these settings on each device and how to grant permission.
Where can I grant access to my camera and microphone?
iPhone / iPad

1.Go to the settings of your iPhone
2.In the list of apps, click on Safari
3.Scroll down to the section "Website Settings"
4.Click on "Camera" > "Enable"
5.Go back
6.Click on "Microphone" > "Enable"
▶︎ Chrome
1.Go to the settings of your iPhone
2.In the list of apps, click on Chrome
3.Under "Allow Chrome to access", turn on the toggles for camera and microphone
Android
Chrome
1.Open the Chrome app on your Android device.
2.Tap "More" (three dots) > "Settings".
3.Tap "Site settings".
4.Tap "Microphone" or "Camera".
5. Toggle the microphone or camera on or off.
If you see the site you want to use listed under "Blocked", tap the site >, then tap "Access your microphone" > and then tap "Allow".
If you have turned off microphone access on your device, you can manage your app permissions on Android to use your microphone.
Computer
First, check whether you can grant access to the camera and microphone in the URL by following the steps below*:
1.Click on the camera icon in the URL bar.
2.Select the top option "Always allow access to your camera and microphone."
3.Click on the "Done/Klaar" button.
4.Refresh the window and reconnect with your therapist.
Note: the session ID must be entered again by the therapist."

▶︎ Using Chrome on a Mac?
First, check if Chrome has permission to use your camera.
If you are using MacOS Mojave and your camera or microphone is not enabled in your system preferences, Chrome may request permission to use your camera or microphone. Use your camera or microphone in Chrome:
1.In the dialog box, select the Open preferences option.
2.Enable camera or microphone permissions:
- Camera: click on Camera and then check the box next to 'Google Chrome'.
- Microphone: click on Microphone and then check the box next to 'Google Chrome'.
3.Your computer may ask if you want to close to save the changes. Click Stop now to save the changes.
⚠️ If you are using a Chrome device at work, in some cases the network administrator may need to configure the camera and microphone settings for you. In that case, you cannot change them here.
